Karma.
"It was actually fun, because you're back fully driving again in these trucks. Ninety percent of the tracks we go to in the IRL, you're flat-out. I was having to lift off the corners some here." - Buddy Rice
Dare has not come to grips with A.J.'s set ups. the cars are going to be the way A.J. wants them and the driver's need to get comfortable in that range. Only a few have come to grips with that scenario and so far, Airton is not one of them.
A good race driver, given adequate seat time, can drive any well prepared racecar on any track surface or configuration at competitive speeds. Remember, I said a GOOD race driver!!!
You have got to be kidding. Times in a 30 minute session the morning before the race have got to be without a doubt the most irrelevant statistic in racing.
Manson. There is such an obvious answer I a shocked that you didn't figure it out. A.J. was working on the car and left his 25 lb. tenderloin sitting next to the electronics box. The crew didn't see it and put the cover back on. Dare was mad at beeing so slow, but A.J. was even madder when his samich came up missing!!!
Real Race Cars don't have fenders, hoods, roofs or doors.
