  • Nice lead, RPM/ESPN...

    thanks for the "backing":

    "Something Old, Something New

Winston Cup and CART have two very different destinations this weekend. Let the F1 comparisons begin as CART runs the Molson Indy at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve -- home of F1's Canadian Grand Prix -- marking its Montreal debut. Meanwhile, NASCAR blows into Bristol, Tenn., where Kurt Busch banged his way to victory in March."

With friends like these, who needs enemas?
"Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and your going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down." -- Edward Blume

ESPN must all have chapped lips from all the puckering they give to everyone non-IRL. It's rather pathetic!
            Have a very blessed day!

Is it a conspiracy or is it because the IRL doesn't get onto the track until Saturday. These two day things must be great for the teams, but it gives us fans nothing to look forward to on a Friday. At least practice on Friday, that way we'll get some publicity.

I found this, and it contains some things certain 'partners' are likely to let sail right over their heads. Still, the main page does not in any way highlight the ESPN 'partner.'

                        Surprise surprise.

BINGO!!!!! Why would they lead with a series that doesn't get on track until tomorrow. NASCAR and CART have cars on the track today. Blame the IRL if you want to blame anyone.
