Just curious. If there are so many diehard IRL fans on this board why weren't you at the track today. Noticed people talking about attendence.....get off the computer and go to the track.
I've got sources. I used to know a T-Shirt vendor at the Phoenix track.

Most of us in chat live far away or some couldn't make it there for Saturday.
Wish I could... it's a bit of a drive from Alabama. Anyway, tomorrow at green flag time I have to be on a plane headed for Florida (work, not vacation).
Was it really $45 for quals ?
Unfortunately I wouldn't have paid that even if I wasn't in Indy.
They have to reduce that price if true....
charge $5 bucks, bring in new fans, would have had more money that way...
You can buy a hot pit in the IRL?
If so can it be bought on race day?
I think it is pretty cool if you can.</STRONG>
The Ticket was through California Speedway not the IRL.
The pit pass that anybody could buy at the track for $25 gave you admission on pit lane for Quals. Not behind the wall.
