Kim was a PR person at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway prior to being hired by the IRL, and is genuinely respected by most media people. Her activities will do a lot for the IRL in Charlotte, and her contacts with "non-typical" IRL media will be an asset.

Somewhat unrelated, I'd like to see the IRL return to Charlotte to race some day. That was always a good track.
