  • OT - Pardon The Interruption

OK - this is my second OT post of the day. I promise, it won't become a habit.

Does anyone else enjoy Pardon The Interruption on ESPN? I think the show is great. Kornheiser and Wilbon are the "Crossfire" of sports. They're witty and very funny.

    Thoughts?

I've always liked Kornheiser's radio show on ESPN. I think he and Wilbon make a good pair because they don't seem to take themselves too seriously. Now if you're looking for hardcore sports, they're not the folks to be watching (or listening to. . .)

PTI at 5:30 p.m. EST is "must see TV" for me. I too, often disagree with their takes but at times they get me to consider viewpoints that differ from mine. I like the way they can disagree without being disagreeable.

Plus RPM was on both sides of it

I missed the first part of RPM

Robin Miller didn't look any better the second time around

Did anyone catch Kornheiser yesterday, where he was sporting "the cop" look. That was classic!

PTI is the best sports talk show going IMO.

I love PTI. Wilbon is the goods, and I find Kornheiser much more tolerable on TV than on the radio. They seem to be making a concerted effort to not "shout each other down" as much these days, which makes it a better show.

The format is great and Tony and Wilbon play off each other really well. Don't think either of them are too much into racing. It will be interesting to see if the producers get an occasional racing topic on the board.

I think Wilbon does watch motorsports, he seems pretty up on it when they discuss it.

I love the Kornheiser radio show. Listen to it every day on the Internet while at work. The between break segments on the Internet are oftentimes funnier than the show itself.

Both Tony and Wilbon don't know much about racing which they freely admitted after making comments about this years Daytona 500.

Nonetheless, excellent show. Much better than Rome whose act gets old very quick.

Wilbon is an exceptional writer. He's also an avid Indiana High School hoops fan. He did a story that appeared in the Washington Post last season about IHSAA hoops. He visited the "WigWam" in Anderson and the #1 sized gym in the country at New Castle, the name of which has slipped my mind.
