I hope not, AJ needs a driver that is hungry not one that is hanging around past his prime like little Al, IMHO. Plus rumor has it AJ doesn't like to pay a salary to his drivers, would TG be picking up the tab ?

Mario, yes I would rather see Beechler in the #14. Seems to me for the past few years Little Al hasn't really been that excited about racing. And that in understandable given what has happened with his daughter and such. Donnie just seems more like AJ's type of driver, hard charging and trying to get to the front. Al is more laid back and calculating. Not that I don't think Al is a good driver I just don't see him mixing well with AJ.

CrewChief, AJ may like young hungry drivers, but he does what he has to as the deal with Salazar proves. If Al does drive the 14, it will be pretty clear to me at least that TG is paying Al. There was a report that Al went on a hunting trip with AJ over the holidays. They don't strike me as hunting buddies. If that happened, its because a deal was being done. I think Al would prefer to stay with Galles. The thing that is strange is that if Al is really getting $3mm from TG, why doesn't he just take some of it and become partners with Galles?
