Will there be more tickets avaliable for that race this year? I would love to go to that one. That would by my girlfriend's first night IRL race too. And you're right about the cars looking so much cooler at night. I prefer to see cars at night though a haze of dirt though, but IRL looks awsome too.

Nashville was a good experience last year.
The only down side was the long drive 5 hours each way or 10 hours total for less than 2 hours of racing.
I think I am going to head to Mich this year instead of Nashville. The travel time for me is about the same and I will see a much longer race not to metion not get home until 2am like Nashville.
If the league is not going to shift their stance on the fees I would imagine all of the ovals would start being replaced by "chamber of commerce financially supported" TV infomercials dressed up like a car race for different city centers across the USA.
Well, in the case of Texas, although I had credentials, I couldn't get in until something like 1 or 1:30. ...that was too late for me. I like starting my day at the track ~7-8AM!
Come on to RIR , they're about the most fan-friendly track I've ever been to . Even though they've been bought by ISC , Kenny Campbell is head honcho on site .
He's kept the same "fans first" philosophy from the days when he was a partner with the Sawyers at the old Fairgrounds 1/2 mile .

Not for me! I had a unique experience: I saw an IRL race and slept in my own bed that night. Just gotta be more careful about remembering where I parked the car next time...
