She needs to be in a car racing hard or she is going to lose it. Not many can take off so much time and come right back. Maybe sara is young, but she doesn't have enough time behind the wheel for it to be as instinctual as it was for say, Al sr. when he came back from the dead to win Indy 87.
She need to be driving something, even if it is hot laps at Johannsen's indoor track. If Walker can't give her so seat time, bhe should let her run some midgets or something. I don't think she would have any trouble getting a ride. She isn't going to get any better standing around the pits looking sad.

Sarah never had a hint of talent. That is the problem and why she doesn't have a ride.
Nice girl....no talent. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it!</STRONG>
About right. The media and the IRL following have squeezed all there is out ot the Fisher thing. Time for her to move on with her life and quit tormenting herself. She is a very fortunate young lady to have made it through some of the tangles she created. Others have not been so lucky.
She is a very personalbe youngster and will do fine in life but driving rear engine cars rather baffled her.

Although I'm curious as to where she keeps the required set of large brass... </STRONG>
It is becomming more and more evident that fast times at Winchester and a lot of other red hot spridget occurances do not translate into successful seat time in the rear engine type of racing.
At this point she hasn't displayed a pair of brass anything that others haven't had and put to better use.
I do not wish her ill by any means, I just wish her luck in something she can handle. The girl has not a clue why the car won't go where she points it nor what to do to correct it. Walker is rather on the spot and probably doesn't want to look like a heel by telling her to start looking.

No talent! Tell that to the 3 Indy 500 winners she outqualified at RIR. Her WARMUP lap was faster than their QUALIFYING laps.
Whoever was in charge on the Walker team on Saturday at RIR, Walker was at the CART race, ran a very loose ship, not to mention the most loose race setup of any car at Richmmond. Team Menard had to tell Walker Racing that they had failed to tightened the main screw on the left sidepod of #15. This was just before the afternoon practice. This is not second hand info. I was within 2 yards of #15 when that conversation took place!
The problems last year started with the change in engineers. If you don't believe that, do the research and compare practice and qualifying speeds in 2000 to 2001. At Kentucky in 2000, Fisher was at the top of the speed charts until the practice before qualifying, and then qualified 4th, and finished 3rd. She led 9 laps. If a yellow had come out then, the IRL would have had its first woman driver to win a race.
In 2001, with another engineer, the car was 10 miles an hour too slow. At one track late in the season, Walker Racing had Casey Mears test #15 after Fisher complained about setup. Mears could not get the car to go as fast as Fisher.
I sometimes wonder why I kept that incident at RIR to myself as long as I did.

NM, don't go messing up these poor boys theories with facts. They have made up their minds, the only place they think Sarah should be is the Kitchen. Sarah's was progressing nicely until the engineer change.
Walker's team skrewed her around so much, I think she's gonna need to switch teams just to get her confidence back. Everybody I've talked to that was involved with Walker has told me that it was the teams fault Sarah fell apart last year.
