OT - Wall Street reporter dead

It's been all over the news they've been killing reporters over there. This brilliant dude goes off for an interview with some extremely shady characters with no body guard or even checking out who these people are.
I feel for his family but he's one dumb dude.

He worked in Indy, too. www.indystar.com has this as its lead story right now.
Call these the Days of Outrage. Good Lord."I didn't hear a single comment about airboxes, "carbashians", or how terrible the car looked. I did see dozens and dozens of little kids in awe of the speed and how cool the cars looked. We should learn from our children."

they even did a snuff video of the act... the death penalty is way too lenient for these subhuman perpetrators. unfortunately they will probably never be captured, and may well be regarded as heros by many in their own country (see the palestinian terrorists responsible for the 1972 munich olympics massacre, who were freed by the german government in a phony hijacking scheme).
granted, in the grand scheme of things it's "only" one dead innocent - and thousands are murdered in american ghettos every year - but this is a monstrously evil act.
I just wonder what the appropriate response would be...

This is a bad deal no matter how you look at it. My question is what in the h#ll did the Wall Street Journal need a reporter over there for? Thier focus is business & financial. He had a family - I would have said "I won't go".Have attended: Indy 500 (36), Belle Island (3), Kentucky (4), St Pete (3), Homestead (1), Texas (2) Michigan (5), Cleveland (3), Iowa (6), Chicagoland (5), IRP (2), Eldora (3)...
