While I personally don't care for Phish, they could put $$$ in the Hulman Racing account, and possibly bring the hemp industry in as a racing sponsor.

Cheech & Chong could be the Grand Marshalls of the 500.

Those guys should also probably drive the pace car. With the top on of course and smoke trailing out the cracked windows.

Jam band. Sort of the millennial version of the Dead. Fans follow them around the country in droves. It potentially could be a huge crowd, but I'm just not sure how much of the Phish crowd dovetails with the Indy crowd.

Anthrax would bring Widespread Panic. Those headbangers caused stampedes to the earplugs.

I like Panic more too and would be thrilled if the league came to their senses and invited them for Carb Day. Phish does have more pull right now however....

I like jam bands, but phish is too mellow for me. They need an edge, more attitude!

Instead of poser jam bands like phish and whiteboy picnic they should go and get Bob Weir.
His step daughter Lelani Munter pretended to race for half a minute. There are still a lot of Deadheads out there.

A bit of over thinking going on here. (Who cares where they fall on the radio? That's not relevant to anything.) If you host a Phish show at IMS you are going to generate some revenue, which is the sort of the idea here, no?

lol. They'd have to ask for directions on the backstretch.

I bet stoners love watching cars go fast.

She is Weir's sister-in-law. By the way - 58 years old - love Phish, the Dead since I was 16 and Panic - and I live in Indiana - not Washington nor Colorado and I don't even drink - so park the stereotypes somewhere else

Yea, but they'd only drive 5 MPH
