Driven is airing on some Spanish channel in Dallas, if anyone wants to tune in. I've never seen it, so I don't know if this makes it better or worse.
The cars look awesome, though.
I agree the cars do look awesome. The movie, however, is not. Just don't go into it expecting it to be close to reality, and you'll be fine. Not quite as off the beaten path as Talladega Nights, but definitely not Days of Thunder either.
I changed the channel after the show cars through the streets bit. I couldn't understand what they were arguing about, anyway. I knew it was supposed to be terrible. It was weird seeing all the CART placement, though.
Maybe next time my brother comes into town we'll pick up some of those beers and see just how bad-good it is.

Always associate that airline with the crash in downtown San Diego. I was real young but still remember that.
On topic, Driven was flat out awful. I would agree with the "so bad it's good" crowd if it wasn't for the grating non-stop music during the race sequences (at least that's what I remember of it, Driven was a one-off for me).

They had a few incidents, it looks like. I was too young to remember any of it.
