  • When will Jay Howard get a ride?

I received a Walmart flyer with my Sunday paper. On the cover, there is a model who I think is Jay Howard. It is a very striking resemblance if not him. The flyer doesn't say if it is or is not, but it looks just like him. They list some featured brands, including Jordache. Jordache is a long-time Indy 500 sponsor for Dreyer & Reinbold. So, you know what I'm thinking: Jay Howard, Jordache, and Robbie Buhl for the month of March through September. Full season. That'd be cool.

Can anyone tell me if it is Jay Howard? I can't take pictures of it, but I am sure someone else saw it. For reference, the link below shows you some pictures of Jay Howard. He's a great-looking guy who could take IndyCar to the newspapers, literally!

With the limited number of seats available and the number of drivers still looking for rides, I doubt he will be full season. Always seems to pop up during the 500 but who knows. Sports cars for him!

I would also add Alex Lloyd to this list.

      Another talented driver.

I suppose I have come to realise that this is motor racing. Talent is nothing without money or luck. Not moaning/complaining just saying.

Anyway I hope Alex gets a drive as he is talented.

Neither of them have experience with the new chassis too.

          Jay Howard is pretty hot.

Jordache stick out when you wear them.

Arnd, you can't link to pictures that are located on your computer. You need to upload it to the internet somewhere.

I can't say I've seen anything from either driver that shows they belong in the series. Journeymen at best.

If they had a chance I'm afraid it has passed them up at this point. The further removed from their last ride the less likely they are to get another.

Idk about that lloyd's performance on bump day and a 4th place finish at the 500 were pretty impressive in a Coyne car nonetheless

Agreed. Seems like he's got the skills, and appears to be a personable fellow. I'd like to see him get another crack at ICS.
