    Lost in the schedule excitement

    http://sports.yahoo.com/news/andrett...8138--irl.html

Although re-signing to drive with his father, who has fielded a car for the 26 year old since 2006 rookie season, may have seemed automatic, there were rumblings Andretti at one point was looking around the paddock to see what other options might be available.
But he found dad's team to be the place to stay
"You can't arrest those guys, they're folk heroes"
    "They're criminals"
"Well most folk heroes started out as criminals"

I'm sure he could actually help bring a sponsorship to another team but can't imagine any team that would want him would be 'better' than AA.

There goes the 'Marco to Dale Coyne Racing' rumor, which only just came to mind and makes zero sense whatsoever.

      In other unsurprising news...

Whether Marco was Marco or not - leaving AA would have been a foolish move. Even though Marco didn't win yet this season this is his most consistent season by far and I think he gained a lot of respect from fans and the media alike.

Marco's only 34 points out of Third Place in the standings. A win at Fontana would be huge for his career right now.

It's a 500....Marco could dominate only to break down within a few miles of the finish. 2006 Indy was a fluke.....

                    Would anyone else have him?
I have spent more time here than I did in school.

As long as he brings money.

I think so - especially if he brought money. He's had a really good season, by far his best.
He'd have to quit acting like a spoiled little princess though, or it could end up being a short relationship.

I am so glad for Marco. I love seeing the spoiled kids "race" for their parents. They can jet set all over the place, be the big man on campus and its all thanks to hard work, dedication and perseverance. It's good to know that having an arrogant attitude can still allow you to get somewhere in life!

A person who is an acquaintance of mine who work in the business said to me that he is just a bad seed. And that nothing will change it. It has become a habit for we in our circle of friends and family to refer to him as the bad seed. and then wink.
