He did the first Texas double header in 2011, qualified 8th in his first ever start, but retired in both races (both not his fault if I recall). Then he was running top 5 and right behind the leaders in his second ever round in the late stages at Kentucky, but lost a few positions just in the last laps. Then he got another chance at Las Vegas, easily outqualifying team mate Wheldon. Ironically, he triggered the big pileup that caused Wheldons death.
He got a chance at two more races in 2012 - Indy, where he started ahead of teammate Conway but retired early. Then Fontana but wasn't really on the pace there.
Unfortunately, while he showed good speed in America, he doesn't back home. Everytime I see him in a local race now in New Zealand he's usually farting around at the back of the field with his brother Mitch. I don't really understand that one... maybe the other Lights drivers were never that good hehe.
