It could look bad to make the question today, but a consideration should give it: yesterday's crash could put an end to the career of Franchitti? I do not mean just in the true sense of the word, I'm sure that next year we'll see him at the start of the first race of the season...but last win of Franchitti is a year and a half ago...do you think this crash can mark his final decline?

I'm of the opinion that yesterday was the last time he will race an IndyCar outside of Indianapolis. With Ganassi supposedly looking to add another car to its sportscar program, that seems like a natural transition for Dario at this point.Twitter: @ByrdRacing

Were you there in 1982 when Fletcher's guys were literally painting over Gordon Smiley's name in Gasoline Alley and an on the hauler after hirign Ziggy Snider, same day as Gordon's death? I was. Had beers with many crews guys and drivers over at the Speedway Motel hours afterward, all sad, but ready for the next day.
Legitimate question. Does not "look bad." It is racing. And I am for fans having any opinion or ansking any question they want. What I don't like, however, is making this sport something it isn't. Sensitive, easily-offended types best stick to lawn bowling or polite games of shuffleboard.

I'd love to see Dario running as Porsche factory driver *-*Religion can't save. Jesus can because He loves you!

Thanks for your contribution Count.
I am for fans asking any question they want as well. I am also for fans being allowed to decide on their own what they think looks bad. You can decide what YOU think looks bad, OK?
Thanks.

If nothing else, Dario isn't a quitter.
Reminds me of Richard Petty. He told his wife he'd rase as long as it was fun.
After a particularly nasty crash, she met him at the infield hospital while he was on the table getting checked out.
Richard said she asked him "are you still having FUN?""If there are no dogs in Heaven, when I die I want to go where they go" Will Rodgers
I dream of a better world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Simple incompetence is a far more sinister force in the world than evil intent.
