  • Friends v. Enemies

Interesting how the commentators say "Dixon and Power, they're good friends", I always find those sort of comments to be shaky at best. So who's really friends in the series and who's really enemies?

    Kanaan & Castroneves Friends?
    Franchitti & Power Enemies?

I'd assume WillyP and Dixie actually are good friends ... I've seen them exit the drivers meeting and ride their bikes back to the paddock together joking multiple times -cap

Obviously Dario and TK are friends too. Charlie, Josef, James Davison, Hinch, and Oriol all hung out at the Indiana State fair together.
      Nobody likes Graham.

Being friends/enemies track does not equal being friends/enemies off the track. It's like Magic Johnson vs Larry Bird - sure they had their beef and scuffles but at the end they were very good friends off the court. Sports does this to people.

Can you complete your driver analysis..go thru entire field. Who is good to work with, Sponsorship/PR wise (fan friendliness) & Engineering wise (communication for car setup). I know about Danica's terrible reputation, rude to fans, can't setup a car, etc. I heard about certain drivers who are "engineering challenged", so they can't work with engineers to converge to a good car setup.

Tony Kanaan is a super guy, fan-friendly (has huge fan club) & knows how to setup a car. Sacrificed his career to stay at Andretti team to "babysit" those other drivers, instead of moving on to Ganassi. I saw that Indycar 36 about Scott Dixon, the guy has good skills whose talent translated to wins & championship right-off-the-bat. Family man, no personality flaws. TK & Scott Dixon have the ideal "complete package", easy to work with..no overhead required to deal with "idiosyncrasies".

That is true...other drivers avoid Graham like the plague, even Jakes!

I respected Hornish's "I don't want to be friends with anyone" attitude when he raced for Panther.

From what I've read, TK can be quite difficult to deal with.

The AA guys (excluding Viso) seem to hang out off the track. Conway & Marco are friends off the track. So are Tags & Dixon.

Anyone friends with Graham or Helio off the track?

For example: Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson? Not friends. Tiger Woods and Fred Couples? Good friends.

Lets just say I know more than what the press leads on to believe. Inside info. Unless you're a rat then you never reveal what goes on.

Really? I can recall many times other drivers have taken pictures with Graham mainly while playing golf. Recently a bunch of drivers including Graham just went to a fair together.
