    Pics from today:

A day at the track is always a fun time.

There was an incident entering pit lane with what I believe was a Sarah Fisher car. A little fire coming off the back of the car. Not sure if it was Josef or the new guy.

During the press conference a driver mentioned there was no timing and scoring so he didn't know how he was doing. Good old stop watch action going on.

Bourdais' "paint job" is awesome...best looking this year ... again

I was there for only a short time and spent most of that observing garage & pit activity. Unannounced, Ryan Briscoe was in the 4 car.

The few timings I did were not systematic. I just started timing random cars as the whim struck me, using a reference pole near my seat at turn 3a in place of the S/F line. No one was really pushing it hard, but times ranged from 1:23 to 1:25. Respectable for testing, but not qualifying speeds.
