double headers are good now because the racing is good. remember in the past there have been some just horrible streat parades. if changes on the technical or competition side bring street parades back, the double headers would be a disaster. i'd think more evaluation is appropriate before making every twisty into a double.

What would be really good is a balance of racing with morre ovals. BUT I would add ovals that included a road course (IMS/Daytona) and try and pair up with GA/ALMS on weekends where they can run a 12 hour (road coourse) through the night, followed by ICS on the oval - a bit of racing for everyone.
If we cannot have a decent support race then run ICS on the road course on Saturday and oval on Sunday - that would be a fantastc double header IMO and again, everyone is happy as far as fans are concerned.Last edited by Ajax; 08-06-2013, 06:58 AM.
