  • Indianapolis Grand-AM Road Racing Party 2nd Annual July 26, 2013

So sorry for the late notice. However:

Greetings race fans. We are getting set for the 2nd annual Charity Day at the Track for the Grand-AM Road Racing series event at Indianapolis with Godstone Ranch Motorsports, Hunt Construction Group, Midwest Sports Car Club and Indianapolis Cars and Coffee on FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2013. Last year we had a fantastic outing that provided for a nice donation to the American Heart Association thru the generous ticket purchasing of the attendees.

This time around, there are multiple ways to get involved.

    OPTION 1

The first way is to simply purchase your all inclusive race day tickets for $150 per person. Activities on track and in our suite start at 9 am and run all day thru the 3 hour Rolex Grand-AM race that starts at 5:00 pm, so you can participate as your schedule allows. NASCAR practice sessions will share the venue with the Grand-AM road race series and be part of the day’s events for the first time. Both the oval and the road course will be in use this day.

Our event is structured to raise funds and awareness for the American Heart Association's Hands Only CPR campaign while having a great time with friends, family and business associates. Of the $150 per person ticket price, approximately $70 ea will be tax deductible as a charitable 501 (c) (3) donation. Your cost includes entrance to the track, access to our luxury Tower Terrace Hospitality Suite, garage and pit access, meet and greet opportunities with Grand-AM and NASCAR drivers in the suite, and lunch.

Please RSVP to me, and make payment arrangements via check or credit card.

Make checks payable to Godstone Ranch Motorsports and mail to:

    Hunt Construction Group, Inc.

    2450 S Tibbs Ave

    Indianapolis, In 46241.

    Attn: Bill Sewall Race Outing

If paying by credit card on line, visit; http://godstoneranch.org/?q=node/89

then click on the Donations “Option 1” method. Donate $150 for each ticket you need, print out your receipt to confirm your donation and I will arrange to get your tickets to you.

If paying by credit card over the phone, call John McCutchen at 214-674-9472.

    OPTION 2

    1. Sponsorship opportunities for your business are available on the race car. 3 major sponsorship levels receive car signage commensurate with the level of sponsorship. See attached flyer titled “Indy Sponsors”.

    2. 2 VIP Pit Party/Paddock Access tickets come with each $5,000 sponsorship, 4 for $10k and so on.

    3. Other benefits (B2B, publicity, etc.)

A message from driver John McCutchen regarding the car sponsorship options:

    Dear Colleague;

You might be aware that I chair a non-profit, Godstone Ranch that harnesses professional motorsports to support the American Heart Association’s Hands-Only CPR campaign. Godstone is a large part of helping to promote awareness of this life-saving technique.

To that end, we compete in the Grand AM Road racing series, owned by NASCAR. Our car, a Porsche GT3, known as the “Heart Car,” races in the Rolex GT class, and recently completed flawless runs in Austin and Atlanta to kick off this season. Our future 2013 race schedule includes the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 26 during Super Weekend with NASCAR.

We are looking for sponsors and supporters, who would like to be part of these nationally televised events. It’s a great way to promote your company, do some B2B in the pits, and help advance a very worthwhile cause!

I have attached some sponsorship levels, including those that have car signage. The TV audience is estimated to be about 1,000,000 viewers on SPEED TV, so it’s a real bargain. Godstone is a registered 501(c)(iii), so your contribution can be tax deductible.

We have once again been blessed in our mission to spread the word about the life saving benefits of Hands Only CPR! The American Heart Association with support from WellPoint has teamed with Godstone for the production of our first Public Service Announcement (PSA) which was filmed at the Road Atlanta race on April 20th. Our PSA will debut on national TV in support of National CPR week, beginning June1.

Sign up as a sponsor now and be part of something truly special.

Thanks and feel free to forward this info on to anyone you think might be interested.

    Sincerely,

    John J. McCutchen II

Bump for race event. 80ish tickets spoken for, can take to 110 or so. Thanks to all the MWSCC members who are on board. This is a great way to see a race, having an A/C spot with food and bev to retreat to as needed is very nice in July.

This was an amazing event last year. Food, drink, inside seating, outside seating, cold AC inside to cool off and hide from the rain last year. Front, outside seating provided the entire start/finish straight and the exciting braking zone into T1. It also provided the BEST place to watch the infield racing from the covered walkway on the back.

Great food was always right there. Frosty beverages awaited to quench your thirst. Lots of race fans to hang out with. We even had some musicians from John Mellencamp's band jamming together.

If you like Sports Car racing, you are in Indy this day and want to support a great charity, please grab one of the remaining tickets and get your rear end to IMS for a fun day of racing.

From one of the organizers on the Sportscar, ALMS, Grand-am Forum:

Great event, cause and people. Met some great Track Forum people at this event last year!

This video is a PSA shot this spring in Atlanta for the AHA HOCPR campaign. Great race shots of the #71 car.

This is coming up fast and just a few tickets left. Sold out last year and it is looking to do the same this year. So if you are on the fence, you better act now.

Top notch event and some great racing while benefiting a good cause.

Godstone Ranch Racing had two cars entered in the GT class. They qualified P4 and P7.

The 73 was leading and set to win, but the race gods said no and the car went out of the race so close to the finish. The 71, No Hands CPR car, secured a Top 10 finish. The impressive thing about this is that Godstone Ranch Racing is a Not-For-Profit race team. In fact, they are the ONLY not-for-profit running in the Role series.

This was the second year in a row that Hunt Construction Group and Godstone Ranch Racing held a charity function at IMS. Friday was actually Godstone Ranch day at IMS. They have a really great PSA out there.

You can check out more about what they are doing and also make donations to the Heart Association at their website: http://www.godstoneranch.org/

Thank you to the TF management for your continued support of these events by allowing us to promote them on this site. This was the second year for this event and both times it sold out.

This is the third event this year that Snow61 and I have hit this site up for support. You have been right there to help us out and we've seen good support from TF members. Thank you to all for your continued support!

BTW, we currently don't have any more events on the calendar for this year, but that is always subject to change if the right cause comes along.
