    Jim McKay on loan from ABC to the Olympics. For some of you it was Sid Collins, but for me it was Jim McKay as the host. It start was rusty but nice that rival networks worked this out. Class Real Class.

    What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

    I always liked Jim McKay, but I can't say I'd favor him over Sid Collins as the Voice of the 500.

    Glad to hear Jim again. I miss Wide World of Sports. I also liked Chris Schenkel, too.

        That would be an age thing only.

        You old fart, I was to young to remember Sid, but I did have a few run-ins with the SID at college.
