So who is the sponsor Kelley is announcing Thursday ?

If it is Bud, that would help explain why Kelley dropped Ray like a hot stone.

It also might explain why Al is not with Ganassi (sponsor conflict).

How is it that Galles couldn't find a sponsor but Al could? Galles did have a number of associate sponsors lined up. My guess is that one of those associate's is Al's sponsor now.

If it's a sponsor TG "recommended", then I would gues it will be Worldcom.

For what it's worth, Worldcom has had a relationship with Kelley Racing for a number of years. Remember Diz's primary sponsor two or three years ago?

Bud/Unser/Galles didn't work, but Bud/Unser/Kelley does? Why?

Two reasons: First, the Bud money alone won't fund a car. Galles had nothing to go with it. The biggest reason is that Kelley has some associates, including Futaba and Bombardier (and others).

Second, Al has picked up some other associates (small ones) in the past couple of weeks that also help.
