  • Lazier to drive Silver Bullet ride in 2002...

    http://www.racingone.com/article.asp?artnum=11948

New paint scheme and new primary sponsor for Lazier and Hemelgarn as Coors Light takes over from Tae Bo. Sounds cool.

I remember the Silver Bullet cars of Galles racing in the late 80's.

Those were sharp paint jobs too!

Did you mean to word the thread "title" to make it sound like one of the Lazier brothers would be in a Silver Crown car next season?

I wonder if they will incorporate some Purple on the car somewhere ? It has sort of become Hemmelgarn's Team Color. I think a Silver car with red and purple accent colors would look cool.

. . . Lazier’s car will reflect the change with new purple-and-silver colors.

No I didn't, but I guess you could have mistaken that from my thread title.

Can we assume that Coors has upped its money to Hemelgarn or is this the primary of the secondaries (rotation of Delta/taebo/coors). I hope it is, but I fear reading some time this season that one reason Buddy is not doing well is cuz they are under-funded team without a true primary (like last year with teabo).

If we worry about everything, we'll hyperventilate. Let's not assume the worst for once.

It was a good annoncement about Coors Light uping its involvement with Lazier/Hemlgarn.

When I saw this thread the first thing I thought was, "Buddy or Jacques in a Silver Crown Car?!? That'll be um... interesting, to say the least!"

Hope it's like the one show car that IRL brought around to places. Like this one.

That's the car I saw on the PRI Gasoline Alley tour.

It kinda looks like Cheever's car last year.
