  • Giving thanks to the Holmatro Safety Team...THANK YOU!

Thank you safety team for looking over not only the drivers but all those involved with the teams and maybe even the spectators. You are the silent heroes that carry on without any want or need for applause. Thank you once again!

What happened to Simple Green? They handled the program very well. What the hell is a Holmatro, a taco or soome burrito-- maybe a Japaneese start-up? Can't believe it has come to the point ove the last decade to have to have corporate sponsorship. BS in my book. DImple Green did have a good promo program-- even mailed me fre samples at home as I was a CCWS fan. All we need is the most capable quipmentm paramedics, and trauma docs Don't need them running around in some sponsor labled unifor, League should be shelling out all the money, coveralls, equipment, doc pay, etc.

Dutch company. They specialize in rescue equipment. Been around since the 70s. Quite frankly, it's a perfect match for them sponsor wise.

Believe you are thinking of the oustanding, world renowned safety team from the champ car series. In my humble opinion, they were the best group assembled for what they did. IRL has had it's own team and they too are very good and capable. Could be wrong but I believe Dr Trammel still gets the drivers once they've been injured. THANK GOD he and the Simple Green guys were there to save Alex.

last i recall it's like being human and dealing with human made equipment and such.

I'm with ya on that R22. Asking for perfection at all times in this world is an impossibility. They'll redeem themselves the next couple times there's a serious incident and we'll all soon forget about the Simona deal...

I bet Holmatro was really happy to be a sponsor that night.

Just an FYI, if they hadn't yanked her out of the car like that, she would be dead. Even the track physician in the phillips suit was pulling her. Holmatro has done a great job, this fire was out of control before her car stopped.

Wow I thank the safety team and all everyone can talk about is one incident in literally dozens these guys have taken part in. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if some of these guys were part of the ol'Delphi Safety team. These are the same guys that helped Conway at Indy and probably Power/Phillipe at Sears Point. Give these guys some respect for goodness sake.

Wouldn't be a proper TF thread if there wasn't a handful around to dwell on the negative.

                              Classy.

Holmatro is a Dutch company that produces fire/rescue equipment.
