How about Adonis himself, Charlie Sheen, driving the pace car at Indy. Tiger blood and all! WINNING!!

His show is off the air, should be no ABC conflict!

We've already had one pace car crash at the 500, we don't need another!

Sure, he's be as bad as Max Hardcore in Long Beach, invited by Paul Gentilozzi, no thanks, we need to keep sponsors.

BTW, CDW was an awesome sponsor until that "magical" weekend.

For the Centennial....AJ needs to drive the pace car....and have Al Unser Sr wave the green flag. Provided he isn't busy spotting for the race...Rick Mears should wave the checkered flag

I still think it should be the three 4-time winners lined up in a row of three, that'll make sure the cars stay in good formation too.

Problem is who would stop THEM from racing?

I don't see a celebrity or prominent newsmaker who deserves the right for the 100th anniversary. So I'm going to have to go with Foyt. First four time winner, won 50 years ago, won in '67 when a Camaro was the pace car.

Alright, we will let him sit on the pole, with Al Sr., then Mears.

I'm in for the 4-timers three abreast to the S/F line. Keep the kids in line and behaved and make it a good start.

What if they start racing eachother? Well it would improve the show and I suspect they could beat a few of the current also rans Camaro vs Dallara
You can be a critical fan without being a Critic... Or can you? Quit your b'tchn and enjoy the racing :D

Now, that's something the grandkids will remember.

Do we really need a Coke-head with an alchohal problem that people will have forgotten about in a week or two to be leading the field to the green...

Wow. I know Howard likes the occasional cocktail but don't you think that's a bit harsh?
