Thanks for the comparison, I was curious about that.

I love Pippa but...Texas is a setup track so you could probably put Milka in that car and get the same speeds...

Now don't get carried away with that Milka statement.

I actually remember hearing something about Conquest doing some R&D in the offseason early to gear up for 2011. Maybe I was mistaken with another team but if she is already up to 212, that is fairly legit, majority of the field was in the 212-213 range

IIRC a test is for data acquisition and driver development.

Yeah, I remember now, Coyne had surprisingly great setups for that race...Lloyd outqualified everybody but the red cars, and Milka outqualified...other drivers.

It's amazing to me how sneaky-good of a year Coyne had last year, given the stuff that gets said about them. If you replace Milka with an average rookie (throw Plowman in the car, for example), we'd be talking about them as the surprise team of 2010.

Is this going to turn into a bash pippa test? Since milka is gone are all the milka bash-ers moving on to another female?
In the IZOD IndyCar series we're just kids enjoy the thrills in a 200 MPH candy store.

Indeed. It seemed like after Indy especially (and Lloyd's 4th there), they picked it up a little.

Hope to hear good news on Pippa's test today. Hope it's going really well.

And from Indy onwards they had no engineer, it was all Lloyd, really one of the most outstanding stories of 2010, IMO. If Lloyd ends up without a ride this year it will be a travesty...and if teams are more free to hire the best drivers in 2012 onwards, he better be one of the first to get snatched up...

It doesn't really say anything about Pippa either way...beyond that she's physically and mentally capable of handling the speeds.

In terms of speed. What would the cooler temps today be compared to the heat of June?
