  • Which Driver Would You Most Like To See Win This Year?

Simple question: If you had to pick one driver who didn’t have a victory in 2010 to win a race this year in the IZOD IndyCar Series, whom would it be? :izod2

I have drivers I like more, but Vitor in a Foyt car would be awesome. It would end both Vitor's winless streak and Foyt's as well.

It won't happen, but I'd like to see it.

Tracy, Kanaan, Wheldon, Scheckter and Carpenter in (more than likely) less stellar rides would be nice as well.

Again, it probably won't happen, but I'd like to see it. Unless Kanaan or Wheldon find rides at someone like KV, Panther, or FAZZT. Sorry, but no one - regardless of talent will win with a team of D&R or less.

I'd rather have someone who NEEDS it (ie: Wilson for D&R) more than someone who doesn't (Rahal for Ganassi), even if I like one driver more than the other (Rahal (more) v. Wilson (less))

Danica winning, but only because it would be good for the sport. Actually at this point - I wonder if her winning this year would be more beneficial to NASCAR than IndyCar? I think that's actually a legitimate question.

anyone wanna take bets that Simona is tops at the end of this thread? i'll give 2 to 1 odds.

Either Vitor or Tracy, preferably at Indy.
Insert something witty here. I don't care.

        Vitor by a significant margin.

Danica in an American race would draw lots of press attention toward INDYCAR.

And I want Helio to win at Indy this year. Want him to win #4 while all of the orignal four-timers are still alives.

For me, that's an easy question: Ed Carpenter on an oval, followed by Vitor Miera on a road course. I make these choices because these drivers are (IMO) good enough to win, but fate has not yet decreed it. Secondly, I like the team owners for whom they drive, Sarah Fisher and A.J. Foyt.
I'd also like to see J.R. Hildebrand win Indy. He is an American and the Panther boys have been trying for so long and coming so close.

Simona followed by Rahal. Both need a boost and Danica needs some competition. Of course, it wouldn't break my heart to see Davey win one.
