To most people, she is not. To a vast majority of people on this board, she is.

When you finish 16th or worse 76% of the time, let alone finish on the lead lap only 29% of the time, and have only ONE IndyCar season under your belt and are voted the most popular IndyCar driver (on this board) by a landslide, YES you are overrated.

Once more, this DOES NOT mean she is not talented or lacks the gusto to perform better in the future.

This DOES NOT mean she is not good with fans, because as many of you say - she is (I have not had the pleasure of actually meeting her).

But, as of right now to members of this forum, yes - she is overrated.

it's been heard outside of this forum as well, and we will see this season that she is not over rated. Danica will be crying in her NASCAR money.

              How about Milka Duno returns?

If it means Coyne can field quality drivers in the other car, then I'm happy to have her back.

Sounds like she's popular, not overrated. That thread was about our favorite drivers, not who was most talented.

there are several people on this board who have stated that they think simona will win a race this year. they are OUT of their minds if they think she is good enough to win with HVM.

then there are those, "i'd love to see what she would be doing if she was in a red car". yeah, i'd also like to see what my neighbor bucky buckington jr. the III could do in a red car. i bet lone star JR could put in a couple of top 3s in a red car right now.

"but she led laps"....yes, solely on fuel strategy

she won't even have a top 5 this year. at least not one that isn't based off of fuel strategy.

i hope i'm wrong, i would LOVE for you all to make me eat my words. i would LOVE to have another legitimate female driver (yes, Danica is annoying, but she IS legit) but i won't be.

The Milka news isn't all that ludicrous to me...every series has their drivers that don't have a legimate shot of winning. For my list:

                            1. Tony Kanaan not having a ride now at DdF Racing. Just shocking to hear that they don't have enough sponsor money to run, especially considering they already had him signed to drive.

                            2. The list of new sponsors coming on-board (Shell/Pennzoil, AAA, Allison Transmission, DHL, etc....sorry for those that I forgot).

                            3. Don "The Snake" Prudhome teaming up with Ganassi and running a new 2-car team.

                            4. The list of verteran currently un-employed talent. Seems we have more Indycars looking to run in a LONG time, and there's still talent without seats.

                            5. Not shocked because of the bad tv time slot it has, think this was reason it was dropped. But just surprised that with Honda still in the series that Twin Ring Motegi won't be on the 2012 schedule. And that a second race in Brazil looks likely next year.

ok, I know this is supposed to be Top 5, but I have another one. Still want to hear more details on the Vegas ticket deal. Because giving free tickets to anyone that purchased tickets to any other Indycar race is WILD. Would think there has to be some kind of limit on this...but I'll wait and see.

I read that the free ticket offer will be limited to the first 80,000 fans.
