  • Per Twitter: Conway to AA in 2011!

Mike Conway just tweeted that he has a full season deal with Andretti Autosport next season. I wonder what we'll be seeing from him this year!

I had thought it was weird that AA had suddenly shut up after beating their chests about sponsors the last few weeks. Something was in the offing.

The Soucek era is over before it began.

What is the sponsorship and who is paying for it, and where does that leave D & R?

He seems to have a good relation with Marco. Should be interesting to see how it works out.

Wow, wow, wow. Did I say wow enough? We know that Conway has some money coming from somewhere, which he has brought to D&R for two years. However, that isn't close to what's needed for Andretti.

Hopefully he's bringing a sponsor instead of just a check from FM Conway

Should be interesting to see what D&R does.

It took over 20 years for Michael Andretti to earn my respect.

....and a single tweet to lose it.

Something big had to happen today - Trackside is on tonight.

Perhaps we will hear more about Seabass there too.

Why is that? We all knew a ride buyer would get that seat.

I'm not sure why you have those sentiments. From what I have read Conway seems liked and respected by many of the top drivers in the sport today. It wasn't his fault RHR ran out of corn juice at Indy.

Isn't it ironic that it was an Andretti car running out of gas that ended his season and now he lands a seat with the same team?
