  • Toby Scheckter (Tomas' brother) Launches New Energy Drink

Toby Scheckter, the founder of Scheckter's Organic Beverages was raised on Laverstoke Farm, an organic farm owned by his father Jody Scheckter. Involvement in the day to day activities of running this farm gave Toby a deep understanding and appreciation for the process involved in organic produce. Recognizing that there was a significant gap in the energy drinks market for a healthier alternative, Toby spent two years developing the Worlds First 100% Natural, Organic and FairTrade approved organic drink.
Another reason I don't think Tomas will be in the Redline ride...
I am a fan of the Verizon IndyCar Series, Formula 1, and AMA Supercross. Go Oriol, Seabass, RHR, and J.R.

There are a lot of Scheckter kids to keep tabs on, huh?

I wonder if we'll see this on a sidepod at the 500...

Are people who drink energy drinks really clamoring for an organic option?

You would be surprised. I eat everything organic that I can. What Monsanto, ADM, and others have done to Geneticly modify our food is SCARY. Even the pesticides are SCARY... You would be surprised if you realy looked into it. Its not food anymore. It just looks like it. Read some of these links and make your own decision especially the last one with a video about GMOs. I am not a fanatic so dont worry. Just an FYI for all you Open wheel fans. http://www.organicconsumers.org/monlink.cfm

I have looked into it, and I agree that our food supply has a lot of problems that most people are not even aware of. My point was just that if you're dumb enough to consume energy drinks, are you really that concerned with whether the ingredients are organic? I don't know... I don't drink any of that stuff (or soda, etc.) so I'm obviously not in the target market.

Big scandal last week in the Netherlands and Germany regarding poisoned chickenfood and poisoned eggs and chickenmeat finding its way into the supermarkets. Next day the sales of organic meat and eggs skyrocketed. You're absolutly right to be scared about your food and I suppose it's a hole in the market. There should be a big enough market for this drink and it's only growing.

I'd like to try some. Wonder if there's any way to not get killed with shipping to the U.S.?

OMG, the pesticides. If it were not for those and the improved genetics in the fields we would have have a food shortage and higher prices.Green currently means just that more green as in money.Electric cars, the new light bulbs that you cant throw away because of the mercury.LOL.I hope California goes all electric cars and when everyone plugs them and the whole state goes black what will Brown say.LOL.

They have shown that ALL McDonalds Meat is washed in AMONIA prior to freezing to kill the E Coli and other bacteria. Oh well Stupid is as Stupid Does. Peace. Go getem open wheelers.

I know what I'm eating and I still eat fast food. I love Sunkist soda, and Monster Energy Nitrous. It tastes good and I'm enjoying my life. I'll sleep and eat healthy when I'm dead.

That said, I do eat some organic stuff from time to time, but for no real reason. I don't do "Gluten Free" though, nor, do I do 'diet' or 'zero calorie.' I might give this stuff a try though. If it's nasty, (which I expect), I'll throw it away. It's part of this awesome thing we Americans have called Capitalism.

I love Corporate America! (Please tell me you noticed some of the sarcasm in other my post).

I eat McDonald's maybe once a month and it's usually because I'm in a hurry. I drink two glasses of milk every day to counteract the Sunkist though. I usually drink a can or two a day. The Monster is used very, very sparsely. Only for those days where you get 3-4 hours of sleep. I like organic poultry and organic fruits/veggies. Most cases, it's not much different.
