Was listing to the radio on the way into work this morning and they had a bunch of messages from Military personal stationed over seas to their families here in this area. It really tugs on your heart!

When I was still in the USAF, the worst part of being deployed was not being home for Christmas with the family.

To all the military members reading this, thank you. We can never do enough to repay what you've done. You're having a holiday season far from home so others have the freedoms and opportunity to do just that.

            Dear Track Forum,

I am a registered member by the name of "Sailor Frank", I am currently deployed on patrol for the holidays. I noticed TD500 started a thread "Thank You To Our Military", it brightened my day out here as does reading the posts on track forum everyday (especially the last few weeks with so many great announcements being made). Our security measures prohibit me from logging in with any passwords to track forum but really wanted to say the posts are appreciated! Despite our limited internet connectivity and a busy daily routine at sea I always find time in the day to check up on IICS news and TF is always my first stop! If there were a way to post this note to the "Thank You To Our Military" post it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to DavidM, AFC Colt, Formula Indy and JMFVET, your posts are a bright spot for me today.

Well, Sailor Frank, you just gave me my best Christmas present this year.

God bless, god speed you home safely, and Merry Christmas!

Thanks again to "Sailor Frank" and all the other service personnel who are away from home for your service and sacrifice. I am again seeking mailing addresses to send a few care packages, as those TF connections from last year are now home. Feel free to send me a PM if any of you know of someone in need of a few letters and goodies!
