SFR - I think this could be the ticket to bring them into a mainstream team.

Well, I don't think any of your favorites belong either, so there!

None of the best drivers in the series are your favorites? Just curious . . . are you a new fan to Indycar?

Good luck with that - Justin Wilson she ain't, and she was lost on the ovals, other than Indy.

I was speaking from memory. 2nd and 4th are certainly very respectable, but admittedly that was done in highly dominent equipment. And, didn't he finish behind his teammate (who had equal equipment) all of those years? Not bashing Dan, just being honest about one of my favorite drivers. He has been off his game for several years, IMHO.

I think so, too, but the prospects aren't looking too hot right now. Hope that changes!

I wonder if we just won't see him in a one-off for Indy next year.

I'd imagine they'd have to find a sponsor for him and I'm sure it's hard enough for AGR to find money for Marco and Ryan right now. I'm sure Wheldon has been humbled enough that he would work cheap though.

Maybe Michael should make a call to Klein Tools and Jim Beam and see if they can re-kindle that old flame. If I were Michael I'd tell them "In 2012 we are sticking with Honda and Penske and Ganassi are going with Chevy.........you remember what happened last time Dan drove for Honda's top team!"
