  • Street Circuits I've Designed

I know some of you have asked me about the street circuits I've designed. So here they are. Sorry I couldn't make an album on here, they're too big. Tell me what ya'll think. I know some of them are not the best, but some I think are pretty damn good.

Nice work. The only one I recognized was Seattle so I don't a frame of reference for others. The Seattle track would be super tight and some of the roads would need massive repaving and more gentle crowns in them but you managed to find about the only place in the city you could do it.

Ok I have to confess. This is actually from Gran Turismo 4. Well the location and front stretch is. The rest I came up with. But I feel out of this could come a goo sponsorship opportunity. I mean a street track from a video game becoming an actual race. The Gran Turismo Grand Prix of Seattle.

Miami looked cool, maybe a little long. I liked the Ft Lauderdale one but am worried about passing zones. I was surprised to see one for Anchorage. Thanks for sharing!

Miami is basically the old version, but changed a bit. I wanted the one in Alaska because NASCAR doesn't go there. I also had the idea that it is almost like the Monaco of the north. That's why I designed it by a sea plane port. The big yachts are replace by seaplanes. I think it's a good marketing thing.

These are public roads and parking lots...........not racetracks.

Dude, get over yourself. The guy's hobby is to design street circuits and he's good enough to share his work with us. No need to be an azzhat.

Tell that to the French at Le Mans.
Insert something witty here. I don't care.

I posted this in the other thread, but no one seemed to notice it. It lets you trace out a street track and then drive it (with invented scenery, but correct elevations). Buggy, in my experience, but still very fun.

I so wish I could do that, but my computer is too dumb to handle it. I tried. I also broke my right hand last night. I'm right handed. So ya'll probably won't hear a lot of comments from me for a while.

Add: Spa and Monaco for F1 fans. Targa Florio is another classic that used public roads. For motorcycle fans, the all-time classic event is the Isle of Man TT.
