I think that would be great. The more races the better and doing something to really emphasize the unique Road/Street and Oval aspect of the IICS can't be anything but great publicity. My first reaction to a Vegas Double was more negative than positive because I don't wan't one event to dillute the other. But after thinking about RB's track record so far it might work. Especially if they "super-serve" the fan and make the entire weekend an Indycar love-fest with parties, concerts, and meet-n-greets in addition to the two races.Comment

I'm actually thinking vacation packages. Fly in say Tuesday maybe a meet and greet that night. Practice for the street course opens Wednesday. Then practice and Quals Thursday. Then the race Friday. Then Practice and quals at the oval Saturday. my friend in vegas talked to randy during the SKUSA SuperNationals Super Sunday about a week or so ago and asked randy when the vegas double header would happen, would it be 2011 or 2012. randy's response was simply 2012 is when we see the double header happening. but as far as the 2011 season finale it will be at LVMS. just got confirmation from my friend in vegas that jeff motley confirmed that by christmas is when the announcement will be made that indycar is returning to las vegas as the 2011 indycar season finaleI'd rather be living in Indianapolis or Long Beach instead of Charlotte, NC as there hasn't been an IndyCar race here since 1999.Comment
