B2B as the guy in the article said is the way to go. Mingling and mixing the sponsors as well.

Jeez, even the positive stories contain third grade mistakes. Why do those people still work for indycar.com?

Much of the B2B dealings and potential is what will draw the sponsors, not seeing their company name on a car on TV. Many of them do a lot of business/contacts/mingling at the races and secure contacts to perhaps sell their products. It's not all TV and exposure for many.

Perhaps sell their products? Do you have some credible evidence of this or are you just saying that?

I should have meant for many of the sponsors that don't sell to the general public, like Dad's Rootbeer, etc. For example, if Apex Brazil can get a business contact going with Target to buy millions of dollars of South American products, it seems to be worth it for Apex to sponsor in IndyCar. IndyCar does have sponsor roundtable meetings throughout the year for sponsors to get to know one another, put on presentations of their companies, etc. Belive it or not, deals are made between sponsors while at the races/meetings.

Did you mean that Dad's doesn't sell to the general public, or did you give them as an example of a sponsor who does? Sorry to ask, but the wording was a bit unclear.

It's not just them. I looked through a government document and they said "a fine of at lease" instead of atleast.
