  • Track Identification for Latest DVD-Please Help

I also posted this in the nostalgia forum, but I figured there might be some dirt track fans here that do not go to the nostalgia forum.

I have created 3 photo albums in the "My Profile" section of this forum (Select the more button to see all three listed.) of tracks that I cannot identify. Please help identify these tracks if you can. They are going to be a part of our next DVD,"Midget, Sprint, and Champ Dirt Car Highlights Vol. II. These pictures are video stills so they are not as sharp as I would like.

    A few clues.

Unidentified track #1: Most likely East coast and the film can had 1938 races written on it. Not sure if opening a new track or new season, but there is a little girl cutting a ribbon.

Unidentified track #2: From the sixties. I Was told it could be Columbus Ohio, but he was not sure. Jimmie Davies was in a blue and silver/chrome car with red #5 on it.

Unidentified track #3: Possibly an Indiana track. From the sixties.

After I get the tracks identified, I might be posting more picks for driver identification.

    Thanks a bunch.

Unidentified track #3 sure looks like Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana.
If I were Ed Carpenter and you were a lady...

Thanks Richie. This makes sense since it came with other Indiana tracks.
