  • Which KVRT Driver Would You Keep?

As it says. We all know KVRT has had a rough year, but if you had to choose one of their drivers for your team and cut the other two (money, funding, etc., being equal), which one would you keep?
    144
    Takuma Sato
    51.39%
    74
    EJ Viso
    40.97%
    59
    Mario Moraes
    7.64%
    11

    The poll is expired.

I do choose 1. I stand by E.J. he has the most potential and discipline on the whole team. Had St. Pete won til his car had a problem.

Ask Simona how much discipline he has. I expected and hoped for more from Viso and Moraes this year, but they have failed to deliver. Sato, on the other hand, has shown impressive speed at times this year - particularly on the road courses - and has acquitted himself fairly well on the ovals, he just hasn't put the results together yet. Cut back to two cars, give him an experienced teammate and a full season under his belt and I think Sato would contend for a top-10 championship finish next year.

Very intelligent post. I like Sato alot... Yeah, a lot of crashing, but was Briscoe much different?

I give you credit there, I think Sato is good too, I just think from this year I would have to say EJ, but both are talented drivers and both can do well in the series.

I would keep Sato. He's consistantly been their fastest driver, and even though he has crashed alot, he also seems to be the one that gets taken out by others alot.

You didn't put a "None of the Above" choice.

Actually Viso would be the choice of the three IMO.

I bet the parts division at Dallara voted for all three of them.

Sato has the most potential. To me, he is a classic example of a guy who really got hurt by the sever limits on testing. If he could have had several more test days, I think he would have been much better.

Crash-Sato will never change. I'd toss out the whole group and put Vasser back in the car before I'd keep any of them. But to answer the poll, I would lean more towards Viso. I think Viso of the group with proper mentoring and an experienced teammate would be the most successful. If you have ever watched him he has the ability to go wikedly fast. He reminds me a bunch of Schekter. Not as aggressive but that fearlessness that allows you to take chances and go faster then your competitors.

any evidence that he'll never change?
I think next year should be sato/viso...

1 vote for Mario, I did not even know he was a member on TF.
I hate it when people compare Senna with god . . . I mean he is okay, but come on he isn't Senna. . .

None of the above should be an answer...that is mine.
