  • Danica's worst season since rookie year.

Looks like Danica will finish 11th in the standings in 2010. With one race left, she is 22 points behind P10 Justin Wilson, and 41 points ahead of p12 Alex Tagliani.

In 2005 she finished 12th, her lowest finish. But then improved from year to year after that. 9th, then 7th, then 6th, and 5th last year.

Danica is not the only one not happy with 11th. Michael Andretti and Go Daddy won't be happy with being 11th either.

This season marks the time in her 6 seasons at Indycar that she will finish last on her team in the standings. ( In the aforementioned 2005 season, Buddy Rice finished 15th on her team.)

Ironic that this disappointing season, comes after 2009, her best year, in which she finished ahead of all of her
teammates, and also finished first among all Non Penske and Non Ganassi Drivers.

She seems to complain, race after race this year that's she's not comfortable with the car...

        OK.

She brings it home in almost every race. She still gets the camera's on her a lot in virtually every race even though she's not running for the lead and is dawdling back mid pack or so. I'd say it's hard to complain when she's incurred little damage to the car and yet manages to get the camera's on her every race. I guess Go Daddy could complain but would a driver change get them anymore exposure?? I doubt it, AGR is still struggling to break into the Penske/Ganassi performance level.

I think she'll do well to finish 11th. Frankly, the drivers in front of her are better than she is.

Find me a driver that doesnt complain about their car and I will show you a driver that will never run up front

You never want to hear the driver say its perfect. If it is, they arent pushing it hard enough

She completed something like 99.7% of the laps this year, has run very well on the ovals, and was in position to win more than once this season

Not exactly a bad season when Gannaske is sucking all the air out of the room almost every race

She needs to pick a series and give it 100%. This bouncing back and foward is doing nothing but hurting her.

She beat all her teammates last night, and finished ahead of Dixon. She only got passed by Power in the pits on the last round.

She drove a pretty smart race all afternoon. Lots of sponsor exposure and the ads don't hurt either.
Her financial folks & sponsors think she is doing quite well.

Has It Even Been Mentioned That...

Go Daddy Inc. is for sale, and there is a A REAL GOOD CHANCE, the new owner/owners are not gonna be high tech pimp/pimps. Not to take anything away from Bob Parsons, and/or Jomax Marketing. This guy is on the ball, no question, he is just not your mainstream executive, PERIOD...:krusty I think he's cool, and his resume speaks for itself... Do expect a new more MAINSTREAM marketing strategy from the new owners of this company. Even if Parsons didn't sell the company, that soft core porn shtick was starting to wear real thin. Gimmicks in advertising have a shelf life, like anything else.

I think she's better than the naysayers say, and I think she should stay in IndyCar. She'll be a total washout in NASCAR.

Personally, i think the competition has been tougher this year (the ex-champ car teams are finally getting it together) and she has obviously been distracted with nascar. I hope she does continue with nascar, i think she will likely not be successful in sprint, but, she has to try ... she just has to.

exactly, I think she can attract dollars, which is great.
She's just not as good as the casual observer may think. I also think that her weaknesses are going to be brought front & center in NASCAR.......but you're right, she has to try.

Hard for her to do well in a season that has a majority of RC/SC, and she was more or less the slowest car in each one.
