  • Google Trends - Nice Indycar Statistics

    I hope this link works:
    http://www.google.de/trends?q=indy+c...ate=all&sort=0

    Some interesting notes:
Indycar seems to be way more popular in new zealand, than it is in the USA.
English speaking people are the only group of peole, that prefer "indy car" over "indycar".
You can clearly see how the interest grows in may.

    My question:
What the hell was this gigantic peak in march 2006?

You can also search for your favourite driver in there. My hint: Try "Mike Conway" and tell me what people are really interested in to see.

I was playing around with this the other day. Kind of cool.

Check this one out. The Indy 500 and the Daytona 500. Kind of interesting. More searches for Indy, but more news for Daytona. Damn NASCAR and the media.

Canada seems more interested in the Daytona 500 as compared to the Indy 500.

FL and Charlotte are places other than Canada where Daytona beats out Indy, but that isn't exactly surprising.
