  • Can't go to Indy?

What do you do on this day?

For me it's listening to Indy radio stations...traffic reports, track reports, interviews and such. It reminds me of being stuck in race day traffic. That's what Dad always listened to.

Snacks and barley sodas will have been procured in advance and properly stored. I'll probably get some calls from folks at T.H.E. Speedway and have a beer "with" them. I'll probably be at TF chat as well, critiquing the race and making smart-azzed comments as usual.

    Drop the flag.

    Hey Jeff,

This will be your dad's chance to watch the race with some of the great winners from the past. I've always pictured all the racefans and drivers in heaven having a whale of of a party on Memorial day!

Hope you enjoy the race too buddy.

I will be at home in England, at about 10pm on the sofa with a comferter and a pillow. A big glass of chocolate milk and a big bag of pretzels, with my Scheckter shirt from last year and my Scheckter Ganassi hat on. In England there aren't too many race fans, so ill probably be alone... awww... hopefully on TF with Jeff and about two other people...

            Leave them alone, Jeff.

Can't you tell that they're all too depressed to talk about it right now?

The reason I wont be there is that I have an exam the day before. Even if I left the second I finished my exam I would still arrive after the end of the race...

I'll be sitting on my couch accompanied by Stone Brewing's finest offerings and my fiancee who laughs as I watch cars going in circles on TV again.

Ahhh....too bad. 90th running? Some snoozer of a race that was, huh? You picked a good one to go to. You better get back here before your boy Tomas isn't running it anymore - he is running out of teams to go to.

Well, when he wins it this year he will be full time for the rest of the season with Luzco Dragon and then move the #6 to replace Briscoe....

Well I can hope cant I?

Why can't you go to the doctor some other time? (cough)

I would love to miss out my 3 1/2 hour exam on the british political system, but if I want to go to university/collge I need to do it... I have a gap year in two years, so i'll be there then!

No church for this sinner this Sunday

start the day off with F1,

honey-do's and internet after that race ends & before the 500 broadcast starts

followed by a cookout with old friends visiting from Up North

Hes a race fan so the World 6,000,000,000 will be on from time to time as well

Always bummer when I cannnot go, but I console myself with the thoguhts that I wont be in that traffic
                              Live like Dave
