    500 Festival Kick-Off to May - TODAY!

    Shameless plug, but it's May so I think it's excusable

    If you work or live near Downtown Indy, come out to Monument Circle today for free lunch, live music, pacecars and princesses!

    The 500 Festival will kick-off the month of May and celebrate its 2008 theme: Fuel the Dream on Thursday, May 1 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monument Circle. Come celebrate the start of a month-long series of events and programs with Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, 500 Festival Board of Director’s and staff and the 2008 500 Festival Princesses. This year’s Indianapolis 500 Chevrolet Corvette pace cars will also be on display. The first 500 people will receive a free giveaway and lunch. There will also be live music from Sunday Edition to enjoy.

          Got my free lunch. Guy in front of me was interviewed for the Norwegian Business Daily about the upcoming election. Have to get my subscription for that I tell ya...
