The thing that prevented the start of the race to be shown on ESPN2 is the same thing that let us watch the race to the finish. Anyone b******g should keep that in mind. It's always been about the Indy 500!
I realize I have the right to remain silent, but don't have the ability or enough common sense to do so.

That was total BS...typical of our NASCAR-friendly "partners" at ESPN...It's one thing if a MLB game runs late, but women's golf??? No offense but it isn't a top draw, in fact I am willing to bet Indycar is a better ratings draw (especially post Danica win). how many tv sets were turned off when the viewers tuned in expecting to see Indycar racing and instead got golf? And I don't want some devil's advocate telling me how women's golf gets so and so ratings...blah blah blah. It was ridiculous. When Yankees/BoSox can be pre-empted for NASCAR, then there is NO excuse for Indycar to have to wait on women's golf"We named the dog Indiana"

Originally posted by Mack TooDoesn't matter, they delay the start, not the finish. FOX did something like that with NASCAR. There will be a re-air. I never missed a minute. Never have, never will, I pay the fiddler, I have DirecTV with the east and west network feeds, and EVERY sports channel they offer.
sorry to bother you.
