Man Im probably prejudice, but you'd think that the 'wave of the future' would have more than a huge bumpersticker slapped on the side of it for graphics.

Well, H2 cars are actually electric cars, just with a very inefficient way of storing electricity. But, just showing an electric car pacing the field is good publicity for Honda and the IRL. Maybe they should use if for all the races.

this is a great idea. what better way to highlight the crisis that our environment is currently in than to have a fuel cell car pace an indy car race?

fuel cell cars are gonna make this planet safe again for our children, grandchildren and many more generations to come.

i think all the government's of the world should write a bunch of laws forcing car makers to build these cars. and they should raise our taxes to help pay for it too.

        yes, that is sarcasm

            me too.

i bet tony george could convince the gov't to pay for it all.

that would be great. then tony could take all that money he was saving and use it to develop an actual marketing plan.

            think of the possibilities!

            fingers crossed here.

Peter DeLorenzo(autoextremist) announced a Hydrogen Racing League, with a Hydrogen 500 to be held at IMS in May 2009 a year or two ago. I don't know how far that has progressed...

That's what I've always wondered. The original Prius looked "ok" but the hatchback looks like ****. Even the Civic hybrid can't looks just like the normal Civic - it has some ridiculously ugly wheels on it that looks like they are three sizes too small. That other Honda, I think it's called the Insight, is just about the ugliest piece of automotive engineering in history.
