Do you agree or disagree that the 2008 Indycar Championship will be the most competitive, diverse and dramatic racing series? We will see no less than four teams (AGR, Ganassi, Penske,NH) with 10 drivers capable of winning week in and week out as well as 14-18 other team/driver combinations striving to make their mark. These teams will compete in 19 races featuring everything from tight, twisty street circuits to short ovals to majestic road courses to high banked superspeedways to the legendary, fearsome 2.5 mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Not until next year. Then they will have a better ratio of oval vs. street and the CC drivers will have a year under their belt with the different car. Next season should be very competitive. And when they get the new car and hit the big reset button, it will be an even more interesting season.
I think F-1 will be a dramatic year this year as Ferrari, McClaren and BMW all have strong cars. It should be close for at least the first two thirds of the season.

The "hopes and dreams" will far exceed the reality and only 5 or 6 cars, the same ones as last year, will win all of the races. Any additional cars that show up will merely bulk up the already over crowded mid to bottom of the grid.
TG should have taken all the money that he has wasted hiring all of these back marker outfits and hired 2 or 3 pro level teams capable of running at the front..

NO!
But for none of the cheeseball reasons listed.
I just feel some of the other earlier years were more CDD...

What irks me (maybe its too soon for the truth), DW was a 16-oval WIN specialist, yet the vast majority those boohooing for him, hardcarders & fans, alike are the same ones trying to kill anything with more than 9 deg banking & 4 corners, where Dan ultimately made his home...

Q: Are Puppies Cute?
(24%) Yes, because of their eyes.
(23%) Yes, because they chase their tail.
(22%) Yes, because they play with kids.
(31%) No, I like adult dogs better.
Therefore, 'No', puppies are not cute.

I think F1 will be the interesting series this year. No traction control - Australia was a thrill to watch with cars getting sideways once again. BMW stepping up to the challenge with a competitive car, SeaBass running an extremely competitive race for Toro Ross and Ferrari starting the season with a disappointing 1 point (and all 6 Ferrari powered cars failing to finish!)."Promote what you love instead of bashing what you hate."
