Chances are if you are posting here or reading this forum, you at least have heard of TrackSide Online - www.tracksideonline.com
We have enjoyed a fantastic relationship with the folks at TrackForum and really have let our subscribers and fans do the talking for us these last few years. The love-fests usually show up once every month or so which is great to see as word-of-mouth advertising has always been our strongest way to reach new people. Not to mention the reviews are typically pretty great for the ego.
In light of the new era of IndyCar Racing though, we thought it might be time to run up a thread just to let some of the many new folks here at TF know what we are all about.
TrackSide Online is an internet news outlet that provides text updates and photos live from every official open test and every race on the IndyCar and Indy Pro Series schedules. TSO has not missed a practice, a qualifying session or a race in nearly ten years. Yes that includes all pre-season testing, every Motegi event, each and every day the Speedway is open in May and much, much more. The only other media outlet to match our attendance record is the IndyCar PR staff. Newspapers, local television, internet, magazines, national racing shows and networks - not one can match TSO's commitment to covering the Series for our subscribers on-site.
What do we do? We provide timely and pertinent news, trivia, rumors and more through our e-mailed updates which are also available on the website alongside photos from every day of every event. Nearly every team in the paddock has someone that is subscribed to TSO as well as a vast number of officials, media members, drivers and more. It isn't infrequent to have someone walk over to one of us on pit road, pull their Blackberry out and ask us about something we just sent!
Our photo albums offer considerable variety and focus on the stories of the day thanks mostly to our primary photographer Kim who does an amazing job considering she is a one person force at most races.
Audio content has been something we have been building as well including a weekly podcast the last few years and now a weekly radio show on Race Fan Radio.
We look forward to seeing some new people on board this season as many new and old fans make their way to the IndyCar Series. TSO will be here to cover the Indy Racing League for the old fans as well as the new so we hope you'll consider signing up! Cost is just $19 for a full twelve month subscription - less than a $1/event!
Thanks!!!
