  • Walker demise could push Forsythe back in?

    I heard things
This really does have some teeth though. Walker is out. Kalkhoven signed the "papers" and George agreed to help CC out of the financial ruin they are in.

Now from what I heard, Tony agreed to help Gerry and Kevin (split) the bankrupty costs. And that is in writing. So if Gerry balks, he could be on his own to pay for everything left in CC's bankruptcy?

Kevin signed off, so he is safe, and from what we all officially read, so did Gerry?

Now Gerry is cheap, so I doubt he would test George (who holds signed papers?)
Forsythe is definitely going to announce something soon. And it's expected to be substantial. Whether it's OW, or Grand Am. I can't confirm.

I think it's gonna be OW. I think if Gerry thinks this thru. He has the entire Canadian nation behind him (right now they are mad) and he also has some bucks from Monster. I just can't see him toss Monster and PT into a Grand Am gig, or cup ride.
    fingers crossed.
More road and street courses please! Thank You :worship:

Don't mistake the coterie of Canadian CCWS fans on CW for the 'entire Canadian nation'. Beyond a single story in my local newspaper, I haven't seen any further media discussion of the Tracy situation.

Yep, 99.99% of us [CANUCKISTANS] have never heard of the guy. Even the .01% that know him are not all that ''mad.''

Although, feel free to keep on getting things wrong as much as right. It is pretty entertaining. :tg

I wil tell you right now. if the IRL shows up in Toronto next year without Forsythe, and Tracy, there will be pissed off fans.

I think having Tracy is a major kick for the series. And in Canada its vital, for the series. JMO

IMO Canada is not vital to the series.

Can I ask you a question? how old are you?

Canada is really the "capital" of open wheel racing.
They dust Americans when it comes to passion of OW racing. This is really undisputed.
The venues and history, are unparrelled.

                          I'm 30

Venues and history unparrelled???? One word, INDY!! The IRL has lasted longer with INDY than Champ car did with Canada. INDY is the only thing vital to AOWR.
If we can include them great, if they get pissed and don't want us there because PT is not there, I think I'll get over it. PT would be good for the league but in no way vital.

I understand this is "Hoosier" land, but anyone who knows the history of OW knows the history with Canadians.
Ask Mikey Andretti if Canada is not important. As much as I dislike him, I know he appreciated Canadian venues were. I think he won Toronto 4-5 times? He was always strong up there.
