Is this "Alex Lloyd to Vision" rumor a done deal??

Cavin seems to think it is. Is he a "loaner" from TCGR or something? Does Tracy's new free agency put dampers on this plan, or does TG add a fourth car for Tracy, and then a 5th at Indy for Davey?

I think its been a known factthat Chip had planned to loan Lloyd out to a team.

PT has been rumored to be going to drive for Chip and Chip contacted Paul's people during that contract issue Paul was having.

So Lloyd gets "layed off" to Vision for a full season, and PT gets a 3rd TCGR car for a full year?

I haven't read the articles about Tracy not wanting a ride with Vision but have seen the threads. Having said that, how about this scenario--TCGR was going to have Lloyd as part of the team but now that Tracy is stating he'll only go to a top team TG is taking Lloyd on at Vision instead and opening up a spot at TCGR for Tracy. Doing this would mean that Davey would still just be a 4th car at Indy.

Doubt that's what it is but figured everyone else throws out WAGs so I might as well too

Yeah - I was under the same impression. However, I do hope that
Vision does add at least a 3rd car for Indy with Davey Hamilton.
That was a solid drive last May.

Along those lines, Ralf Schumacher made the comment about being the best driver in F1 last year. Someone posted a comment to the article saying it was unlikely he was even the 3rd best driver in his family.

Alex has only had one day testing in Indycars I think? If he does get a drive, he'll be way disadvantaged, even less testing than the CCWS guys. Difficult to see how he'd be up to speed before mid-season at least

Unless they allow him to test with the former CC teams, like Marty Roth Racing is doing.

I thought TG's quote with regard to PT had more to the story.

I think Cheep wants TG to pay PT to run for Cheep, while unloading AL on TG for a year while still retaining AL's Contract. Couldn't deduct who pays for AL's 08 season.
