  • Roth Racing...why?

Why would you take your team, cars, and drivers all the way down to Homestead...just so that Marty can run 7 laps in 2 days?
In comparison, Dan Whelson has run 129 laps and counting...
Talk about wasting money for itty bitty benefit.
Rest in peace, Dan Wheldon 1978 - 2011

Sometimes the obvious is so hard to see.
Whoever said nothing was impossible obviously never tried slamming a revolving door.

They may not have the money. They might just run both tomorrow if they got permission since Jay will finish his rookie orientation tomorrow.

I so want for Roth and especially Howard to succeed.
So I guess I'm just disappointed that the team is down there but they are sitting on sidelines while bigger teams are gathering data

Possibly they had some sort of problem on the car, and have been working on it? At least they're there trying.

Given that everyone knows when the track opens in Indy for the month of May, why is it that there are always guys who don't get their pieces assembled until 4pm on bump day?????
I'm from a place called the internet. Nothing disturbs me.

Somebodys got to be the backmarker. That being said, I wish I was Marty.

Great for them for even trying. They are up against a huge challenge. He is today's Jim Guthrie. I am no predicting a win but he is the little guy putting forth the effort.

Jay Howard has a private test tomorrow while he completes his rookie test. The plan is to probably have Marty on the track at the same time later in that test so that he can get some laps running with another car.

the man is living the dream!

as long as he keeps it clean and doesn't jeopardize anyone's safety ... more power to him.

but i hear what you're saying. florida is a long way from indy for 7 laps. sounds like more is coming for jay and him soon though.
