      I like the idea, but...

Have the season start in Surfers, then do Motegi; put Mexico City in August (might be a bit too hot, but...); Road America labor day weekend; end with Chicagoland under the lights the weekend after. I'll write up a proposal schedule tomorrow!
Understeer: you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Oversteer is when the driver finds his limits. Snap oversteer is when the limits find the driver.

Gonna have to start much earlier with these added races. I say let TMS open the season in Feb. right between the Rolx 24 and the Daytona 500.

Judging by the press conference, I think you can count out Mexico City.

Why not start the season earlier and add Mexico City to the front end for a warm weather venue?
            Have attended: Indy 500 (36), Belle Island (3), Kentucky (4), St Pete (3), Homestead (1), Texas (2) Michigan (5), Cleveland (3), Iowa (6), Chicagoland (5), IRP (2), Eldora (3)...

Where are Iowa and Richmond? Go back and check your answers again...

I have no idea why I gave myself a thumbs down. Not at all intentional.

I'm not impressed by the Iowa or Richmond events and I think that they're not essential to a quality schedule moving forward. If IndyCar is to be a successful series I believe they will have to expand the schedule to 25 races over the next couple of years and look to more international venues like Jerez or Monza. I'd like to see them try and do two races in Australia and two races in Japan if possible as well.

I heard Tony say that his goal was to get back to schedule diversity like CART had in 1995. The only way to do that is to expand the schedule and to eliminate a couple of events. Richmond and Iowa are weak events and in my mind they need to go.

You'll also notice that I left Portland off the schedule. It's also become a weaker event and I'm not sure that it's a good fit at the moment in spite of the fact that I rather like the track.

I'd love to hear your opinions though.

Porland for me wasnt the same after the added the festival chicane...

Richmond and Iowa wont be going anywhere anytime soon. Iowa had a first year glitch with the weather so after one event I cant see how you can say it should go..
Richmond has become one of the better races on the schedule.

And they are short tracks. They NEED to be there.

How, exactly, do you figure Iowa and Richmond are "weak"?

Like the concept but cannot have your season end off American soil. Need to end in Septbember before NFL and your first race of the season should be right after the Daytona 500.
