That phrase came to mind last Friday. But when I looked it up, I decided I didn't want to use it in regards to open wheel unification.

                  From Wikipedia:

The phrase "peace for our time" was spoken on 30 September, 1938 by British prime minister Neville Chamberlain in his speech concerning the Munich Agreement, often misquoted as "peace in our time". It is primarily remembered for its ironic value. The Munich Agreement gave the Sudetenland of Czechoslovakia to Hitler in an attempt to satisfy his desire for Lebensraum or "living space" for Germany. The German invasion of Sudetenland began on 1 October.

One year after the agreement, following continued aggression from Germany and its invasion of Poland, Europe was plunged into World War II.

Everytime I see Buddy Rice, I get the uncontrollable urge to reach through the screen and bend the bill of his hat for him.

Never thought there would be a day TG, KK, Miller, and Despain would be in the same picture and not one negative thought accompanies it.

This is truly a special time in history for open wheel racing.

                        yup.

First thing ya do when you get a new hat. Grab that bill with both hands and bend it until the sides touch.

the good news is thats my biggest gripe with Indy car racing today
