Jay Howard is expanding into IP2000, with reigning USF2000 champ Christian Rasmussen and Wyatt Brichacek driving:

    https://www.indypro2000.com/news/jhd...-and-brichacek

Meanwhile Jacob Abel has been named a Honda junior factory driver and will be racing an Acura GT3, which I assume now takes precedence over his previously announced IP2000 season:

That would actually be even cooler to see Francis in that series. I love Super Formula.

Same. I didn't know about that aspect either until seeing someone post that on the other forum.

Ernie Francis Jr., the African-American Trans-Am champion and now SRX driver, is switching to open wheel in Formula Regional Americas as well, with Willy T. Ribbs mentoring him, which is neat. Winning that championship would put him in Indy Lights and I'd be interested to see how he does since I think he could have the talent to do so.

It's a bit ridiculous when someone like Deledda gets to move up despite him never scoring points in three seasons of F3 while Sargeant gets left behind. https://www.motorsport.com/sports-ca...witch/5370312/
